During the last Genoa Boat Show, Cartello Srl won the ADI (Association for Industrial Design) award for the CXO300 engine<\/strong>. The award was conferred, in partnership with Ucina Federation of Nautical Employers, to the best design products of the 2018 edition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The jury ratifying the winners was composed by Luisa Bocchietto<\/strong>, President of the World Design Organisation (WDO), Nicoletta Negro<\/strong>, ADI representative for Liguria region and Stefano Pagani Isnardi,<\/strong> responsible for the Ucina studies office. The jury considered the product Cartello sells as the only deserving engine, because of its technical and aesthetical characteristics, as well as the sustainability criteria in place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CXO300 engine produced by COX Powertrain, indeed, is diesel-powered<\/strong>. It is an engine that can supply 300 horses at about 4.500 revs per minute, with a weight comparable to that of an equivalent gas-powered engine. The decisive factors that mainly interested final users and operators are an exaggerated maximum torque also at low speed and a really low fuel consumption. What is more, the assistance policy allows to practically abolish the boat downtime in case of breakdown, thanks to Cox\u2019s capability of immediately offering a spare engine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award was collected during a ceremony taking place at the last Genoa Boat show, whose evaluation is absolutely positive, according to Gaia: \u201cThe Show<\/em> \u2013 he stressed \u2013 is always a wonderful showcase for our products and this year it has been a unique occasion to introduce our new range of Hidea outboards and the CXO300.
